Swalife Biotech Hosts the 3rd Annual Swalife International Conference and 2nd Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Innovation Conference

Uniting science, innovation, and entrepreneurship to inspire the next generation of biotech leaders.

Swalife Biotech Ltd., in collaboration with the Swalife Society for Translational Science & Innovation (SSTSI) and Swalife Foundation, successfully organized two landmark events in 2025 the 3rd Annual Swalife International Conference on Innovations in Drug Discovery (September 15–16, 2025) and the 2nd Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Innovation Conference (October 15, 2025).
Together, these events brought together scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs, faculty members, and students from across India and abroad to advance a shared vision bridging innovation, education, and translational biotechnology for societal benefit.

 

3rd Annual Swalife International Conference on Innovations in Drug Discovery (September 15–16, 2025)

The 3rd Annual Swalife International Conference, organized by Swalife Foundation in association with SSTSI, University of Staffordshire (UK), and OaCP IE Ltd. (Ireland), marked a milestone in India’s scientific calendar. The conference focused on AI integration, network pharmacology, molecular modeling, nanoformulations, and personalized herbal drug discovery.

 Keynote Speakers and Sessions

Dr. Pravin Badhe (Ireland & India), Founder and CEO of Swalife Biotech Ltd., delivered the keynote session on “Personalized Herbal Formulations in Chemoprevention of Oral Cancer,” highlighting Swalife’s groundbreaking research in nanoemulsion technologies and small-molecule derivatives.

Dr. Enrico D. Oto (Ireland & Italy), Founder of OaCP IE Ltd., discussed “Genetic Biomarkers and FISH – Accelerating Drug Discovery Innovation.”

      Dr. Ahmad Zia Haidery (UK), Director of Studies at the University of Staffordshire, presented “Temporal Modeling of Fibroblast Responses to Cancer-Derived Extracellular Particles.”

 Workshops and Poster Tracks

Workshops during the event introduced participants to cutting-edge computational approaches including:

Protein–ligand docking and network pharmacology mapping

Compound–target pathway analysis using KEGG & GO

Drug-likeness, ADMET screening, and biomarker validation

Poster presentations covered a broad range of themes such as AI in Drug Discovery, Omics Technologies, Pharmacovigilance, Nanotechnology, and Translational Research.

 Awards and Recognition

The conference concluded with the presentation of Best Poster Awards and Faculty Mentor Recognition, celebrating excellence in scientific communication.

 Student Category Winner: Miss Kalyani Thombre, Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee recognized for her outstanding research on innovative herbal formulations.

 Faculty Category Winner: Dr. Shashikala Metri, Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Pharmacy  honored for her exemplary contribution to translational pharmaceutical research.

These awards symbolize Swalife Biotech’s continued commitment to nurturing academic talent and recognizing scientific excellence across all levels.

2nd Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Innovation Conference (October 15, 2025)

The 2nd Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Innovation Conference celebrated India’s innovation spirit with the theme “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Startup.”
Organized by SSTSI in association with Swalife Biotech Ltd., this online event focused exclusively on keynote talks by entrepreneurs and innovators, emphasizing the intersection of healthcare, technology, and intellectual property.

 Keynote Highlights

Dr. Nidhal Louhichi, Scientist & Entrepreneur, CEO of eSteps (Italy), spoke on “Autonomous Intelligent Medical Devices for Chronic Diseases.”

Dr. K. Indhumathi, CEO of LIMYAZ Technologies and Director at KIM Patents, delivered an inspiring session on “Global Harmonization of Intellectual Property: Challenges and Opportunities in Innovation.”

Dr. Agalya V, Co-Founder of KCCTAD and Professor at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru, discussed “Healthcare: Opportunities and Challenges in Innovation.”

Dr. Neha Mishra, CEO of Ehaa Earth Pvt. Ltd., shared insights in her keynote titled “I Miss India, Do You Miss India.”

Ms. Nidhi Rai, Founder & Director of The VFX Institute (MESC Council), presented “The Future of AI in Filmmaking.”

This second edition paid tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s vision of empowering young minds through innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a culture where scientific imagination meets practical implementation.
